CEO Announcement: Appointment of ICT Manager

Good morning all,

It is with great pleasure that I announce Andrea Cook has accepted the new role of ICT Manager.

Joining Mercy Connect in 2019, Andrea  currently holds the Business Analyst role with Mercy Connect and brings 20 years’ experience in Business Innovation and Transformation, Information Systems Management, Process Improvement and large-scale system implementations in local government and community services sectors.

Andrea has previously held roles in local government for 15 years including, at South Gippsland Shire Council as the Coordinator Business Improvement, and the Rural City of Wangaratta as Business Systems Coordinator, where she has played roles at the both strategic and operational management level.

Within her current role, Andrea has: developed constructive and professional relationships with contractors providing strategic planning and project delivery; identified key issues and risks in business-critical processes and establishing implementation plans and improvement strategies for process redesign; and, established controls and accountability of Mercy Connect’s ICT Service Provider, resulting in improvement in service delivery, network performance, availability and security.

Andrea will commence in her new role from 2 March.
